I used to Bell ring and the group managed a tour to Big Ben probably in the late 1960s – that shows how old I am! It still looks similar to what I remember but the thing that stands out in my memory is that we went at Midday so the striking of the bell 12 times was somewhat noisy. No ear defenders then! Thanks for the memories.
